The CanPKU+ Event Scholarship Program helps defray travel related expenses of eligible travel to in person events. Event travel grants are based on the distance to the event. If funding remains after Canadian applicants have been accepted, out of country applicants will be considered.

Scholarship winners agree to assist with tasks at the event. You will be able to enjoy many activities of the event and we will do our best to match your volunteer interests with our needs. Each event may have different durations and this may affect our scale. As an example the amount of hours will be based on the amount of travel assistance provided may be as follows:
Less than $100 = 2 hours
$101 - $250 = 4 hours
$251-$500 = 6 hours
$501-$900= 8 hours
An applicant may choose to volunteer hours but we are unable to provide monetary compensation for additional hours worked.
Scholarship winners are requested to provide a letter to CanPKU+ following the event describing how they benefited from winning the scholarship and attending the event, with permission to use in CanPKU+ publications and website, at the discretion of CanPKU+; and
As funding is limited; Overall value of the scholarship will also be determined by the number of applicants to the program along with the criteria above.
