CanPKU+ could not do what it does without the support of our wonderful community hosting events in support of our mission. We truly appreciate and value your efforts. Below are ideas and suggestions on how you can support CanPKU+ and have fun at the same time.

We are currently looking for a Fundraising Chair. If you enjoy organizing people and events, or have experience in fundraising or grant writing, you may be a great fit.
Fundraising Opportunities
CanPKU+ is a not-for-profit organization. While we are exploring charitable status, we are not yet a registered charity and therefore cannot issue tax receipts for donations made to individuals at this time. We understand this may influence how you direct donations, but we hope our mission and impact continue to inspire your support.

FlipGiveFlipGive is a cashback-based fundraising platform that helps teams, clubs, and nonprofits raise money through everyday shopping. When supporters shop online or in-store through FlipGive, a percentage of purchases is donated to the organization. Retail partners include Walmart, Canadian Tire, Apple, Indigo, Starbucks and many more. |

Spare for RareSpare for Rare is a community bowling fundraiser supporting Canadians living with PKU, HCU, MSUD, and UCDs. Over $20,000 has been raised to support travel scholarships and event participation. Bowling events build awareness, education, and patient support programs across Canada. |

Race for ResearchOrganized by HCU Network America, this annual walk/run supports research, education, and advocacy for Homocystinuria. CanPKU+ participates and contributes through representation and community engagement. |

GivingTuesdayA global movement celebrating generosity. Each year on the Tuesday following Black Friday, individuals and organizations support causes that matter. Donations help CanPKU+ continue advocacy, education, and family support across Canada. |

Official Donor Recognition
Donations totaling $1,000 CAD or more within a fiscal year (April to March) will receive Donor Designation recognition at our National Events during the following 12 months.
