The Building Bridges Conference is about uniting those living with our "Amino Allies" such as HCU, MSUD, PKU, and UCDs. It is about helping be a bridge between them and research, medical professionals, clinicians, industry partners and advocacy groups to help strengthen our voice, knowledge and understanding.
The Building Bridges conference kicks off on Thursday, August 21st, welcoming the medical community. Thursday and Friday are dedicated to helping clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals connect, share insights, and bridge critical information to clinics. It provides an opportunity to enhance their understanding of the evolving science, treatments, and clinical trials. Hosting this segment in advance also ensures compliance with Canadian regulations regarding industry communication, allowing for appropriate discussions within the correct professional setting. On Friday, August 22nd, we invite attendees to an optional Gala Dinner (available at an additional cost). This special evening brings together both sides of the conference, fostering networking and deeper connections as we begin bridging the medical and community-focused sessions. Those attending only the scientific conference will conclude their participation after this event.
Members of the Medical and Scientific community are encouraged to purchase tickets for the full conference experience which continues until Sunday. If you wish to attend the full conference, please exit this registration and register under the Medical & Scientific Full Conference option. Saturday we will welcoming both community members and scientific attendees. The day will feature group lectures, breakout sessions, and interactive opportunities with researchers, clinicians, industry partners*, and fellow attendees. With a diverse range of topics covered, there will be something for everyone—whether you’re seeking education, engagement, or fun. The evening wraps up with our much-anticipated pool take-over event, ensuring a mix of learning and entertainment! Sunday will offer additional educational sessions and breakout discussions, concluding at midday as we say our goodbyes and begin looking forward to next year’s event.
