Choose the membership that fits you
- General Member (GM)
- $25 per year – For an individual or family living with HCU, PKU, MSUD, UCDs, or another allied disorder.
- A General Membership includes one primary member (head of household) and up to five additional family members living in the same household (such as a parent, grandparent, legal guardian, sibling, spouse, or child). All family members may access membership benefits such as event discounts.
- Voting Rights: One vote per membership. Only General Members aged 18 or older may vote. If more than one adult in the household would like voting privileges, they must each purchase an individual membership.
- Professional Member (PM)
- $35 per year – For professionals such as doctors, researchers, nurses, dietitians, and others who work in or have an interest in metabolic or genetic conditions.
- Voting Rights: Professional members do not have voting rights.
- Supportive Member (SM)
- $30 per year – For individuals who support the mission and work of CanPKU+ and wish to contribute to our goals.
- Voting Rights: Supportive members do not have voting rights.

Why become a member?
Membership helps CanPKU+ demonstrate the strength and reach of our community when we advocate for better care and apply for grants and partnerships. Every member strengthens our collective voice and helps us deliver programs, resources, and events for individuals and families living with HCU, MSUD, PKU, UCDs and other allied disorders across Canada.
By becoming a member you help support the goals of CanPKU+, including:

- Voting rights at Annual General Meetings (General Members only);
- Access to Disability Tax Credit support documents and guidance;
- Access to the members-only section of the website; and
- Ability to connect with other members to build your support network.
