Welcome to Camp MagniPHEque
Camp MagniPHEque is a flagship CanPKU+ experience designed for individuals and families living with phenylketonuria (PKU), homocystinuria (HCU), maple syrup urine disease (MSUD), urea cycle disorders (UCD), and related conditions, regardless of age.
This weekend camp brings our community together in a welcoming, fun, and educational environment where bonds are strengthened and lasting memories are created.
Whether you are new to the community or returning, Camp MagniPHEque offers a warm space to learn, share, and connect.
What to Expect
- Activities for children, youth, and adults
- Opportunities to connect with peers, clinicians, and community members
- Low-protein meals and snacks provided
- Fun, relaxation, and shared community experiences
- Education and information sharing in a relaxed, non-academic setting
Event Details
Dates: September 5–7, 2026
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Who Can Attend: Individuals of all ages affected by PKU, HCU, MSUD, UCD, and related conditions. Participants under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian.
Cost: Members pay $150 for the weekend. Includes accommodations, activities and food - including low protein.

The camp is located on the east shore of Redberry Lake, 85 km north of Saskatoon.
- Take Highway 12 north
- Cross the North Saskatchewan River
- Turn west onto Grid Road 781
- Follow signs to the camp
