The camp is located on the east shore of Redberry Lake, 85 km north of Saskatoon.

Cabins

Camp participants will stay in shared cabins. Redberry has 12 winterized cabins and 4 non-winterized cabins. Each cabin accommodates approximately 10 to 12 people and is equipped with wood-framed bunk beds and electrical outlets near the beds.

CanPKU+ will assign cabins based on participants' ages and genders. Some cabins may be co-ed. If you are staying in a mixed cabin, please respect everyone's personal space and privacy when changing. Participants may wish to bring an extra sheet that can be hung from the top bunk to the bottom bunk to create a private changing area. Alternatively, families have taken turns changing while the rest of the cabin waits outside.

Guests must bring their own bedding, pillows, towels, and personal toiletries. 

We suggest if you would like to put your littles to bed and return to the main hall, that a baby monitor is brought with you to allow you to "hear" in the cabin. Otherwise, we enforce that supervision in the cabin is required.

Main Hall

The dining hall can comfortably accommodate up to 120 people. The main bathrooms are attached to the dining hall and include multiple stalls and separate shower stalls. There is a seating area around an indoor fireplace.

Kitchen Access

The main commercial kitchen is off limits to camp participants. CanPKU+ will have access to a separate side kitchen with basic kitchen items and a refrigerator that can be used to store medical formulas and other approved items.  

The kitchen staff has worked with CanPKU+ in the past and provides exceptional options. We will also have additional food options available but you are welcome to bring your own items for snacking and alternatives. Please put your name on these items. No food is permitted in the cabins. Meals will be served buffet style.

Please note we request that you do not bring ANY nut or may contain nut items.

Gym

The gym includes basketball hoops, volleyball equipment, bathrooms, changing rooms, and an accessible bathroom with a full bathtub and shower. Use of the gym will depend on the camp schedule and can be discussed during the event. Access to the gym without supervision is not permitted. 

Accessibility

The camp is not fully wheelchair accessible. However, Redberry may be able to make arrangements for individual accessibility needs when provided with enough notice and information. Please contact CanPKU+ before camp to discuss any accommodations you may require.

Camp Grounds

The camp grounds include more than 20 picnic tables, walking and hiking paths, and views of Redberry Lake. Participants are encouraged to enjoy the outdoor spaces while respecting camp boundaries, other guests, and the natural environment. There will be some "free time" made available for exploring, but we do request that you participate in activities as scheduled. The grounds provide an outdoor fire pit for evening fires. There is also a climbing gym for play. 

Please note: Accidents can happen indoors or outdoors, whether or not you are participating in a planned activity. We all share responsibility for creating the safest environment possible and maintaining a hands-off policy with friends and foes alike.

Personal Safety and Respect

• Accidents can happen indoors or outdoors, whether or not you are participating in a planned activity.
• Follow all instructions provided by CanPKU+ volunteers and Redberry staff.
• Respect everyone's personal space and maintain a hands-off policy with friends and foes alike.
• Children and youth must remain under the supervision of their assigned adult or group leader.

Camp Property and Personal Belongings

• Treat all camp buildings, grounds, equipment, and property with care.
• Do not engage in vandalism or activities that could damage camp property.
• Report all damage or breakage to a CanPKU+ volunteer or Redberry staff member immediately.
• Deliberate or negligent damage may result in repair or replacement costs.
• Redberry Bible Camp is not responsible for personal belongings or vehicles.
• Please keep track of your belongings and leave valuables at home whenever possible.

Food, Substances, and Animals

• Do not bring nuts or food containing nuts onto the camp property.
• No food may be brought into cabins. Please limit food to the main hall.
• Alcohol, cannabis, and illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on the property.
• Smoking is permitted only in the designated area in the parking lot.
• Pets are not permitted on the property.

Camp Grounds

• Place garbage in garbage cans and recycling in the designated blue recycling bins.
• Vehicles must remain in the parking lot.
• Fires are permitted only in designated fire areas and with appropriate supervision.
• The camp maintenance yard and the facilities directly south of the pool are off limits.
• Fire extinguishers, alarms, and other emergency equipment are for emergencies only. Do not tamper with fire safety equipment.

Activities and Equipment

• Activity areas and equipment may be used only with the approval and supervision of Redberry staff.
• Do not enter supervised activity areas, including the swimming pool, climbing wall, and archery area, unless an authorized Redberry staff member is present.
• Use all activity areas and equipment safely and respectfully.
• Clean up activity areas and return equipment as directed after use.
