Advocacy
Advocacy ensures patient voices are heard by policymakers, regulators, and healthcare decision-makers. Contributions help us engage with Health Canada, mobilize community input on drug submissions and policies, and raise awareness of challenges faced by those with PKU, HCU, MSUD, and UCDs/TCUs. Your support shapes a healthcare system that prioritizes rare disease needs.
Research
CanPKU+ supports scientific progress for PKU, HCU, MSUD, and UCDs/TCUs by supporting patient registries, participating in research panels, funding initiatives like HCU Network America's Race for Research, and sharing valuable data with clinical partners. Donations here help accelerate discovery and amplify the patient voice in research efforts.
Education
Education empowers families to manage rare metabolic disorders with confidence. Donations help us create resources on treatment, diet, and lifestyle, host webinars and workshops, share updates on emerging therapies, and ensure families across Canada have access to vital information.

Our status with Revenue Canada is Not-for-Profit. We are unable to provide tax receipts at this time. Read more here. We are working to submit for charitable status if possible—stay tuned!
