His son Austin was identified as having PKU through newborn screening and the family (1 brother, 1 sister, 1 mother) has adjusted well to their new reality. Adam recently joined the board at CanPKU+ and is currently the Director of Community Relations. He sees his role as continuing to foster the existing relationships with the clinics around the country and raising awareness for PKU. |
